NakedShirts was started by an eccentric New Zealander, Johnny Sunshine (his real name? I think not), who thought that there was an overwhelming lack of good quality, novelty shirts available on the net. Johnny, in a spasm of creativity and inspiration created NakedShirts.co.nz, the best darn t-shirt site this side of the black stump. In May 2010, after much deliberation, he passed on his baby to myself.
Taking the responsibility seriously I intend on walking Nakedshirts through its adolescent years by refining, cajoling and injecting some fresh blood. Q. I’m in New Zealand....How will you ship my shirt?
A. We ship via Courier Post New Zealand. Our flat rate is $5 per order, anywhere in New Zealand.
We typically ship orders out within two days of purchase, but under some circumstances, it may take longer. A confirmation email will be sent when your order has been shipped. NakedShirts is not responsible for delays in shipping caused by our courier provider.

Q. What's the deal with returns and exchanges?
NakedShirts does not accept returns (unless item is faulty), however we do accept exchanges.
Unworn/unwashed shirts can be exchanged for other items sold at NakedShirts within 30 days of delivery. Contact us at nakedshirts@gmail.com and we can let you know how to exchange your shirt. Buyer pays all shipping on exchanges.

Q. I was sent the wrong shirt/I was sent a defective shirt.
A. If you received the wrong shirt or the shirt we sent you is defective, please contact us at nakedshirts@gmail.com with your order number and specifics on what we messed up, and we will take care of it for you.

If you’re unsure of the sizing, lie a favourite shirt flat on the floor and use a tape measure to get the right fit for you.
Remember, to ensure maximum freshness, all shirts are made to order, especially for you, so it pays to get your size right the first time. In the case of genuine mistake we are happy to replace your shirt for a better size.
Q. Are your shirts high quality?
A. Absolutely. Here’s the low down:

150 GSM 100% Cotton
Shoulder to shoulder tape,
Fabric pre-shrunk to minimise shrinkage,
Double needle bottom hem and sleeves.

Q. Why do you have only black shirts?
A. Because brown was never the new black, that’s why. We’re only printing on black until they invent something darker.
Q. How are your shirts printed?
A. We use digital printing and heat pressing. This gives us a vast array of colours, and a huge amount of detail not possible with traditional screenprinting. Heat pressing gives a long lasting, soft print which will last for years with proper care.
